Several Go teams from the region around the Rhine and the Maas compete within the Rhein-Maas-Liga. Besides the Rhein-Maas-Liga there are two more Go leagues in Northrhine-Westfalia: the Ruhrliga and the Westfalenliga. There are five teams this year: Yakuza Aachen, Bonn Uni, Limburg Schääl Sieg and Tenuki Bonn. Each team plays against each other twice. The matches are arranged in five double rounds to minimize the travel distances.
There is an email list for the results and announcements during the year. Everybody is invited to join, just let Torsten know.
The players from Yakuza Aachen are the the new RML champion 2006. In the last douple round they could jump from the 3. place to the 1. with only ONE game won more than Uni Bonn, the 2. in this Year. Congratulations! Have a look at the detailed results of round 5 and the final table.
