European Women's Goe Championship in Koblenz, from 12 September till 14 September 2008
We would like to thank all participants for taking part at the European Women's Goe Championship. Twelve girls were fighting for the title and we saw many interesting games.
A real highlight this time was that the first two boards could live-broadcast at KGS Go Server, while the first board was shown at EuroGoTV. A special thank goes to Harry Weerheijm for his great support. The games were commented by Yoon Young Sun and Hong Seol Ki. Thank you very much for doing a great job.
Results
The winner of the European Women's Goe Championship 2008 is Klára Žaloudková (2d) from Czech Republic.
The 2nd place goes to Manja Marz (4d) from Germany, who only lost against Klára in round 4.
4 girls got 3 points, so the tiebreaker had to bring the decision. The 3rd place goes to Laura Avram (1d) from Romania.
